Islamic Community Training Centers And Educational Services In UKIslamic Community Training Centers And Educational Services In UK

Education is the fundamental right of every child and it is collective responsibility of the states and their stakeholders to play a constructive role in the development of a comprehensive mechanism to ensure that every child goes to the school. As per the human development theories and practices, education is considered vital for the development of society. The economic impact of it can also be not ignored as professional and technical education provides the required skilled workforce that drives the engine of growth in any economy. Hence, those institutes that are devotedly working for the cause of promoting education are blessing indeed.

It is considered that providing educational services to the citizens was a primary responsibility of the state as it also comes under the fundamental human rights to receive and acquire education. However, every government alone cannot meet the target and needs the social circle to play its due role as spreading education is among collective goals of the society, in which the role of social stakeholders is well recognized. Hence, the charitable trusts, non governmental organizations and philanthropists have to play their due role for the cause.

There are probably hundreds of NGOs and charities are working in United Kingdom for various causes and objectives. Every one of them is dedicated to some specific goal and task and is devotedly working in pursuit of that goal. The NGOs have various origins as some of them are local as well as international. Moreover, you can also classify them on the basis of their affiliation with particular community within the social circles. There are indeed dozens of ethnic, religious and community specific organizations and charities in round the globe.

They have their own defined goals and objectives and they vehemently work to achieve those goals.  The Islamic charities can be taken as a premier example of the segment that is working for some specific objectives along with general goal of social development. The primary focus of Muslim NOGs is always the needs of Muslims, but they also work for overall social goals achievement and helping various communities within society to interact with each other. Hence, you can say that community training is also included in their job description. They now only work for their own segment specifically but for the society at large as well.

Given the fact that social sector organizations do play a very constructive and comprehensive role; there has been a flow of ideas and policies that allowed community training centers and NGOs to operate across United Kingdom. When we talk about this, various community organizations like Hanifah community come to mind. These types of organizations are not only working for general cause of social and economic development, but also serve the needs of the community they are mentally, ethnically or religiously attached with. Islamic charitable trusts in United Kingdom are of same kind and nature.

Social development, community training and meeting the needs and demands of the Muslims in a given territory are the primary targets and objectives of Islamic charitable trusts and community training centers.
