MySQL is the most widely used RDBMS in lieu of its low cost & important features which include support for number of platforms, creation and modification of tables, and their efficient management. MySQL is widely known for its stability but chances of the database being corrupted are probable. Any error in database can prove a major threat to the organization using MySQL for storing data. Today MySQL is in use by various organizations and for numerous reasons including web development. To maintain the reliability of MySQL and stability of the data contained in it, third party programmers have designed MySQL repair.

MySQL repair allows recovery of corrupted data from SQL database which is then saved in a separate Script file. All objects of MySQL like indexes, triggers, procedures, views and primary, foreign key is satisfactorily repaired or recovered. MySQL also facilitates recovery of lost records in batch files meaning that more than one table or any other object can be repaired in an attempt.

Database corruption is easy to recognize but hard to bear. Since the causes behind database corruption is inevitable it is good practice to keep a backup of vital data as a precautionary measure. Before making any changes to the data contained in the database or before moving it to new system or server its backup must be acquired.
