A A "Smile Makeover" Can Give You The Beautiful Smile You've Always Wanted!

Not everyone was gifted with teeth that are just naturally beautiful and a smile that is dazzling. But the good news is that modern dental technology now makes it possible to get a "smile makeover" that can give you the smile you've always wanted.

Your smile makeover begins with a private consultation where you share with me the kind of smile you want to have. After doing a thorough examination on your mouth to determine the issues that are keeping you from having a beautiful smile, I will discuss with you the options that are available for correcting the problems.

The three most common processes that I use for turning an ordinary smile into a fabulous smile are:

Teeth Whitening - If your teeth have become yellowed over the years or if you have stains that are detracting from your smile, having your teeth bleached is a quick and easy solution for taking your smile from ordinary to dazzling. Over the past few years, teeth whitening has become a very common process with many over-the-counter options being offered. But when it comes to bleaching your teeth, it is best to have it done under a dentist's care because of the strong solutions that are used and because not every discoloration responds to bleaching which could result in an uneven level of whiteness if you are trying to do the process on your own. In our office, we use the Zoom! Whitening® process to safely and quickly brighten your smile or you can choose the at-home version that we prepare for you.

Porcelain Veneers - If the stains on your teeth cannot be removed with bleaching or if your teeth are cracked, chipped or imperfect in their shape or spacing, porcelain veneers can be applied to your teeth to cover any imperfections in a way that leaves you with a beautiful, natural-looking smile. Porcelain veneers are thin layers of porcelain which have been created in a dental laboratory and once cemented to your teeth will feel, function and look just like natural teeth.

Tooth Colored Fillings and Crowns - When cavities are detracting from your smile or if your teeth are weakened to a degree that veneers cannot be applied to them, tooth colored fillings and crowns can be used to repair the problems. Because the filling will blend with the color of your natural teeth, your tooth will appear as though it is solid without the help of any filling or crown. These fillings are not only natural-looking, they are made of a composite material that lends strength to your tooth instead of weakening it the way many traditional fillings can.

Dental technology has progressed to such a degree that cosmetic dentistry is giving every person the opportunity to have the teeth and smile they desire. Don't let dental issues keep you from having a smile that you are proud of when a smile makeover is much more comfortable, quick and affordable than you might think. If it's time to feel better about yourself and your smile, then it's time to get a smile makeover!
