Your Wedding Will Be The Talk Of The Town With These TipsYour Wedding Will Be The Talk Of The Town With These Tips

Giving gifts to your bridesmaids and groomsmen is a nice way of saying thank you for being there for you on your special day. You may be wondering what a good gift would be. This article will give you some tips for picking out the perfect thank you gifts for your bridal party.

Weddings are one of the more difficult things to plan during the course of your life. Make sure that before your wedding, you are extremely organized so you are in a great position when it comes time to decide on certain questions. This will give you the best opportunity for success.

When planning a wedding, alcohol needs to be a consideration as to what type you want to serve, as well as what the costs are going to be. Open bars are expensive, especially if they're open for a long time. Ask your venue about the different alcohol serving options that they have available.

If you or your future husband have a great voice, one of the things that you can do is to sing a song at your wedding. This should be a slow song that you dedicate either to your future soul mate or someone that is looking down upon you at your wedding.

Make sure that everyone in your wedding party knows how they're getting to the wedding site and back home from your wedding! This is especially important if you're going to be serving alcohol, and essential if it's an open bar. If you're worried about anyone getting too inebriated, offer free cab rides to anyone who doesn't bring a car, or drive them home in your limo.

Even if a wedding photograph looks like it isn't what you intended, keep it, at least in digital form. Sometimes the bride and groom will see a shot that they love even if the photographic composition is lacking. The couple are the final say, so leave it up to them to pick and choose their favorites.

Vintage or antique place settings are a perfect addition to a retro or period-inspired rehearsal dinner or reception, but they are also extremely expensive. Instead of spending days trying to track down a complete set, consider private rental companies that, for a modest sum, rent out entire place settings, silverware, and serving utensils.

When you arrive to your reception, make sure to make the rounds to all the tables to greet your guests. By the end of the night you should have spoken with each guest at least twice, so take that into consideration as you plan your events for the evening. Don't forget to say goodbye as each guests leaves if you can.

Check with the post office for their size and weight limitations for letter mail before placing your wedding invitation order. If you can scale back the size and weight of your invitations so that they are considered a standard size, you can save hundreds of dollars in excess postage needed to send something big and bulky.

Consider purchasing wedding insurance. If you are spending a lot of money on a wedding, then wedding insurance can protect your investment if any problems arise. For example, a supplier going bust or a wedding cancellation due to the bride or groom being ill or injured on the big day.

As stated at the beginning of the article, giving gifts to your bridal party is a nice gesture of thanks and appreciation. With everyone's tastes being so different, it can be hard to choose those "perfect" gifts. Hopefully this article has given you some great gift ideas for saying "thank you" to your bridal party.
