Five Tips For Better Las Vegas Grand Canyon Bus ToursFive Tips For Better Las Vegas Grand Canyon Bus Tours

Las Vegas Grand Canyon bus tours are an awesome way to experience the National Park. They are the cheapest way, too. So in order for you to get the best experience possible from a Canyon coach tour, I collected these five tips. Follow them and you'll be in for the trip of a lifetime.

My first tip is to reserve your Vegas bus tour in advance. Typically, you want to make your reservation up to a week in advance. But I've seen the popularity of bus tours skyrocket, so now I'm advising travelers to book right after they get their hotel settled.

The last thing you want to do is book your tour 24 hours prior to the date you want to go. Or even worse on the day you want to do it. Two things can happen: 1) the price of your bus tour increases by a lot; and 2) the trip you want is sold out. So avoid being the person that gets left behind and book early.

Tip #2 is to purchase your tour online. You'd be amazed how many people call me and try to book over the phone. Most go back online after I tell them they'll be slapped with a $25 surcharge if I do it for them. And in reality, what I do is not all that complicated. In fact, it's exactly what you would do if you booked your tour yourself.

Side Trips

My third tip is book a coach tour to which you can add a side trip. If you visit the West Rim, you can add a helicopter ride to the bottom or a boat ride down the Colorado River. You can even included tickets to the Grand Canyon Skywalk, which is a glass bridge that lets you walk nearly 75 feet over the edge until you are standing some 4K feet over the bottom.

Tip #4 is consider a deluxe coach tour. Standard coach tours accommodate up to 50 people whereas deluxe ones handle up to 12 people. The interesting thing about deluxe tours is that you get more interaction with your guide and get to spend more time sightseeing because logistically it's easier getting 12 people on and off a customized Sprinter van than it is a mega-bus. That said, deluxe tours are more expensive but in my opinion well worth the money and your consideration.

My fifth tip is don't make big plans after you complete your trip. It takes a bus 2.5 hours one way to reach the West Rim and 5.5 hours to get to the South Rim. Add up the travel time and everything else that's part of the mix and you're looking at a trip that takes up to 15 hours to complete. That's a full day, folks, and in nearly all cases you're going to get back to Vegas somewhere in the vicinity of 9 p. M. Consider that when you book shows or dining afterward because from my experience you'll be dog tired.

I hope this article on 5 tips that will make your Las Vegas bus tour to the Grand Canyon more awesome was helpful. If you need more information, stop on by the website and start a chat with me. I'm usually online from 8 a. M. To 5 p. M. MST and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about these exciting coach tours. And I do hope you go because the Canyon is a beautiful place and there's no finer way to get there than by bus.
