Microsoft To Integrate Office With Windows 10 In The Future UpdatesMicrosoft To Integrate Office With Windows 10 In The Future Updates

Windows 10 Anniversary Update is behind us. The second main update for Windows 10 caused a huge hype that lasted several weeks upon its release, but as factors inside the IT world go at the speed of light, folks have currently started talking about future important updates.

You in all probability already know that next big updates for Windows ten are named (for now) Redstone two, and Redstone 3, but we still don't know a great deal about them. In fact, the only thing about these updates we know so far is that Microsoft will release them in 2017.

Despite the fact that Microsoft have currently started pushing Redstone two builds to Windows Insiders, the enterprise nonetheless has to announce new attributes that will arrive with the third significant update for Windows 10. Till some days ago, we didn't know anything about prospective Redstone 2 features, but now, there's at the very least some indication.

Windows Central's Zac Bowden claims that he managed to find some early ideas of 1 of Redstone two or Redstone 3's options. That function is known as an Office Hub, that will serve as a medium for improved integration among Windows ten and Workplace.

The Workplace Hub need to give eligible customers less complicated access to their Workplace files and documents. It would serve as a revamped version of OneDrive or SharePoit, available suitable from the user interface. So, customers are going to be able to edit their documents, check their emails, and more from a single window.

You'll find two probable areas for the Workplace Hub in future versions of Windows. It might be integrated with Cortana, and accessible in the virtual assistant's window, but it might also have its personal icon in the taskbar. If Microsoft decides to location the Office Hub icon inside the taskbar, it would open inside a Cortana-like UI, that most of users are currently familiar with.

Microsoft Stream is the newest Windows 10 business app released by Microsoft. This tool allows companies to securely manage and share videos with their employees for better productivity.

Microsoft Stream is currently in the preview stage, but Office 365 Business users can already test out the app. A series of settings are available allowing users to control who has access to videos.

For example, a particular video can be shared with everybody, while confidential videos can be viewed only by the employees who have permission to access them.

Moreover, Microsoft Stream allows companies to apply a series of filters to their videos and organize them by a specific team or product.

Microsoft has a similar video-sharing tool for business, Office 365 Video, and is planning to merge it with Microsoft Stream in the near future.

Starting today, anyone with a business email address can sign up for the preview in seconds and begin uploading, sharing and tagging videos in their organization. By taking the “work” out of managing video storage and security, Microsoft Stream enables organizations and their employees to communicate and collaborate with video more easily.

Microsoft Stream offers the following features:

Easily upload your videos: Simply drag and drop the videos you want to upload. You can upload them to your own channel or add them to a specific channel based on team, group, topic etc.
Discover relevant content: You receive notifications concerning trending videos, and you can search videos by hashtag, most liked videos and other key search terms.
