Sinks and taps can get dirty in short intervals of time. As these things are used regularly on daily basis. Generally, people hire professionals to get their sinks and taps deep cleaned. As the general problem with taps and sinks is the formation of Limescale as it builds up due to the minerals present its water. The quantity of the erosion depends on the water’s hardness level. You can say limescale is not harmful to humans but you have to admit it looks unpleasant. The second problem faced by taps and sinks is a solid residue of soap and Dirt present on the screw knob of the handles. It is caused by factories where employees work with dirt or the atmosphere has sufficient amount of dirt in the air. Finally, the wet grime that is present as the joint of tap and the sink. This residue is usually the dirt particles mixed with water and soap. It is basically the dirt that washes down the handle of the taps after each use.

So look at the few steps through which you can clean your taps in bathroom or kitchen:

  • Make a mixture of non-toxic cleaner mixed with one part of warm water.
  • Find a used toothbrush
  • Use the toothbrush swiftly to remove the solid residue around the joint
  • Make sure you are using the brush in the right direction you do not want to clean other things too.
  • Rinse the area with hot water.
  • Repeat the step constantly.
  • Now remove the pile of residue from the tap handles and joints
  • If the tap is in the bathroom then open the handle of the taps using the screwdriver.
  • Use the brush inside by mixing it with a soapy solution.
  • Clean the area inside the handle and around the joint.
  • Rinse it with hot water.
  • If you are not able to reach some corners use the straight pin using the cotton.
  • The cotton will absorb all the wet dirt and debris.
  • Then using the toothbrush clean the outside of the tap.
  • Finally, rinse it with cold water.

How to clean the sinks using these simple steps:

  • Remove all the extra equipment present on the sink.
  • Make a mixture of one part of soap, one part of vinegar and two parts of water.
  • Mix the solution and fill it in the spray bottle.
  • Now using the bottle spray from north to south or from up to down direction.
  • Now using the scrubber wipe the area tightly and also make sure you are using your full force in this process.
  • If you find some tough stains then use the old toothbrush and some hot water.
  • The hot water should be used to rinse the sink.
  • Once have rinsed the sink then wait for 5 minutes before using the dry cloth to wipe it.
  • Now wipe it using a dry cloth and make sure you are removing the dirt if any left.

If you will follow these steps then you will get shiny taps and clean sinks!
