But who says you cannot get back into shape even with just a few minutes a day? Here are 5 of the best 10-minute workouts that you can try before, after and even during you are at your workplace:

1. Mat Exercises

10-minute mat exercises which include a set of sit-ups and stretching exercises are enough to tone your muscles and set your body's resistance for moving around the office. It is also one of the best ways for you to keep your body toned while you are still waiting for a free schedule so you could do longer exercises. There are also instructional videos that are available which have very convenient workout instructions which, when followed religiously, could do so much in keeping your body fit and healthy.

2. Treadmill

Doing a 10-minute cardio workout on your treadmill is tantamount to sprinting on a track. Jogging around the neighborhood could be a little time-consuming but then again, why should you get yourselves and your work schedule in clear jeopardy when you can simply use your treadmill? You can do this while waiting for your turn in the toilet, or while waiting for breakfast to get ready. This quick fitness routine is both time0efficient and healthy.

3. Chair Exercises

You can always do chair exercises, even while you are in the office. Now who says exercising is limited only inside your home? Even if you are ridiculously busy, you could still do a 10-minute workout routine in your office cubicle. Time is precious, but you need to let go of the stress even if you only have 10 minutes. When you are on break, try simple stretching. To make it more fun, invite your colleagues to do the same. Just make sure that you are doing exercises without disturbing others.

4. Dancing

Another 10-minute workout to try is dancing. It is indeed one of the best ways to burn fats. For 10 minutes, you could already dance to three songs in whatever genre--which means that you could lose a lot of pounds if you do this regularly, especially in the morning. Dancing is a great whole body workout because it moves every single muscle in your body. This is also considered as one of the best ways to keep your senses awake and alert for the whole day ahead. Yes, you can simply dance all your worries away and burn all those extra fats in the process.

5. Quick Cardio Exercises

Lastly, cardiovascular exercises like taebo and aerobics are known for helping you maintain a good shape. Although it is ideal that you spend more time to do taebo and aerobics, it is possible to try quick routines every day. Try visiting your local video store and look for instructional videos that teach you how to do taebo or aerobics in a short time.
